One fine morning...
This little incident happened during the lockdown.
I pulled an all-nighter to finish reading my favorite book, "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott. I must have finished more than half of the book when I noticed the warm morning golden light falling on the leaves and flowers while they danced as the soft winds touched them. Of course, I wanted to be a part of it. I instantly got up and sat in my window hoping that the warm flares reach me. The cold hazy breeze was touching my skin as I watched little birds sunbathe in the balmy golden beams.
My heart was full of bliss. My day had started with such a cheer. I realized that my book was still in my hands. I didn't close it and I also had a couple of chapters on the left to finish. Hence, I got back to reading. A few minutes later this beautiful little flower fell onto my book. Taking that flower in my hand, I looked out of my window again. I was just so captivated by the reading that I hadn't noticed that the golden warmth of the sun had reached me. It felt like a sign from nature to give all my attention to the pleasant scene that was in front of me. Nature gave me an enchanting morning that day and in return, it only expected my attention. Maybe the falling of the flower on my book was just a coincidence or just something that happened. But it reminded me to live in the moment because those moments won't return. These are the joyous moments of life we forget to embrace. That morning was not only beautiful but also magical. Nature gave me a gift in the form of memory. A memory to cherish forever.
