One year of Quirky Talks!

Today marks 1 year of "Quirky Talks". It started as just a lockdown activity, a way to interact with interesting people. I had no idea if I was going to continue. "Who would be interested to even join me?" "Will anyone even watch?" "People will make fun of me" Despite all these thoughts constantly dancing in my mind I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, the first live had a really good response. And so it began, my very own live show on Instagram. People appreciated my confidence. But it wasn't always pretty.  After a few months, I started receiving hate comments too. I kid you not it broke me. I had very little confidence and once again I began to doubt myself. But I decided not to stop. I had doubts before and I still went for it so why stop now?

Besides giving me an identity and helping me with the stage fear, Quirky Talks gave me friends and a chance to prove to myself that I can be more than just a rookie photographer, to look beyond my flaws, my insecurities. Someone sent me a dm a few days ago saying how Quirky talks is like an empire that I built on my own. And yes, many people might even agree to this. But honestly, it's the guests who deserve more credits. It wouldn't have been possible to reach here if they would've never said yes. Thank you to all the guests who made Quirky Talks what it is today. Lastly, I know it's a long way down this road and that this is just a tiny achievement. But this tiny achievement is very important to me. Thank you to each and everyone who appreciates my work and supports me. It's what keeps me from giving up. It's what helps me to carry on.
